Who we are
Mozambique Gateway is an advisory and information platform based at Av. de Moçambique Nr. 1843, Maputo Paemo Business Center, Bairro do Jardim Mozambique. For any privacy question, write to hello@mozambiquegateway.com.
Information we collect
- Details you submit through our contact form, service request form or newsletter sign-up: name, email address, telephone number, company, country, location and the description of your requirement.
- Correspondence you send us by email, telephone or WhatsApp in connection with an enquiry or engagement.
- Standard technical data generated when you browse the site, such as pages viewed and approximate region, used only to keep the site working and to understand which content is useful.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a scope, fee and timeline.
- To deliver the services you engage us for and coordinate the providers involved.
- To send the Mozambique Business & Investment Brief, if you subscribed.
- To meet our own legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the professionals working on your matter, and only what they need. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party marketing. Where an engagement is commercially sensitive, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before work begins.
We use service providers to run the platform: Supabase hosts our database and backend services, and Resend delivers our email. They process data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you return. Engagement records are kept for as long as legal and accounting obligations require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Email hello@mozambiquegateway.com and we will act on your request. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Please do not send passwords, full identity-document scans or banking credentials through the website forms; we will tell you how to share sensitive documents securely.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The review date above reflects the current version.
